As an active musician in the Hudson Valley, I’ve always done my best to immerse myself in the local music scene any way I can. I’ve given acoustic performances in coffeehouses across the Valley, provided jazz music for weddings and other gatherings, and rocked out with bands in clubs and bars from Poughkeepsie to Albany. I even spent half a year on a cruise ship, playing to audiences from around the world.
I graduated from the College of Saint Rose in 2013. There, I gave countless performances in every context from rock bands and folk trios, to jazz combos and chamber music. I put in hundreds of hours of studio time, both at the mixing desk and behind a guitar, learning the ins and outs of signal flow, microphone placement, and studio etiquette. My studies culminated in a 2-month internship at Nashville's Quad Studios, where my abilities were put to the test in the real world.
After college, I was lucky enough to land a cruise ship gig, with Hudson Valley dance band Bosco and the Storm. For eight months, we sailed from Bayonne, New Jersey to Bermuda, Caribbean Islands, and Nova Scotia, performing nightly for the ship's guests.
Back on land, my weekdays are spent teaching guitar, bass, and drums at the Paul Effman Music store in LaGrangeville, and my weekends devoted to gigging with pit orchestras and dance bands throughout the Hudson Valley and Capital region.
In my free time, I produce videos of cover songs, original performances, and lessons for my YouTube channel, LongestSoloEver
