Learning a musical instrument is difficult. Learning a musical instrument on your own is even harder. It takes an experienced musician to ensure a new student plays with proper technique, develops good musicianship, and most importantly has fun learning the instrument.

I've found the best program for teaching a musical instrument balances the tried-and-true book methods used by schools around the world with a more personalized approach, tailoring the learning process to the student's own musical interests. Learning your favorite song along the way tends to make up for the weeks spent studying scales and exercises.

I've been playing guitar, bass and drums for more than 12 years each, and whether your goal is to perform music for a living, join the band at school, or just learn your favorite song, I'd love to give you the tools to make that happen.

I also offer private lessons in music theory and digital audio recording.
